Our Membership Guidelines

By creating a membership with Brilliantly Neurodiverse you are agreeing to abide by the following Community Guidelines. Please read them in full.

1. Be Kind and Respectful

Treat all members with kindness and respect. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. We aim to create a supportive environment where everyone feels safe and valued.

2. No Spam or Self-Promotion

Avoid posting spam or engaging in self-promotion. This includes unsolicited advertisement, irrelevant links, and repetitive posts. Contributions should be meaningful and beneficial to the community.

3. Respect the Space

This community is dedicated to neurodivergent individuals. Respect the purpose of this space and ensure your contributions align with the community’s goals. If you are not neurodivergent but suspect you might be, you are welcome to join. However, allies or family members should respect this as a space primarily for neurodivergent people.

4. Trauma Informed Care

Where possible, we adhere to Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) guidelines. this means recognising the presence of trauma symptoms and acknowledging the role trauma may play in member’s lives. Avoid sharing graphic details of traumatic experiences and be mindful of the potential impact of your words.

5. Keep it Safe

Do not share personal information about yourself or others. This includes contact details, addresses, and any sensitive information that could compromise the safety and privacy of our members.

6. Constructive Engagement

Engage in discussions constructively Criticise ideas, not people. Focus on providing helpful feedback and contributing positively to conversations.

7. Confidentiality of Community Content

Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the community. Do not share any content, resources, or personal stories/comments from within the forums, outside of this community. This ensures a safe space where members feel comfortable sharing and engaging openly.

8. Report Violations

If you witness any violations of these guidelines, report them to the moderators. We rely on our community to help maintain a safe and respectful environment.

Enforcement of Community Guidelines

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in suspension or termination of membership. the moderators reserve the right to remove any content or members that violate these guidelines to protect the community’s integrity.
