Can I join if I’m not neurodiverse?
Our community is dedicated exclusively to neurodiverse individuals. We kindly ask that you respect this space. However, if you believe you might be neurodiverse, but haven’t received a formal diagnosis, you are welcome to join. We understand that access to diagnosis can be limiting or even inaccessible for some.
Can I join if I am non-binary, trans or gender-fluid?
Absolutely! While our community focuses on neurodiverse women due to historical underdiagnosis and treatment disparities, we wholeheartedly welcome all underrepresented genders, including non-binary, trans and gender-fluid individuals. We strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
You mention terms like PIP and Disability Confident Employment Schemes, which are UK-specific. Is this community only for neurodivergent women from the UK?
While our team is based in the UK and often refers to UK policies and laws (and uses UK spelling- sorry), much of our advice and resources are universally applicable. We encourage individuals from all over the world to join, but please be aware that specific references to policies or laws will pertain to the UK, primarily England. We recommend checking your local government sites for similar policies in your area. Our courses, such as “Conquering your Imposter Syndrome”, are designed to benefit anyone, regardless of location.
Why do I need a membership if it is free to join?
Requiring membership helps us manage and secure our community, ensuring a safe space for our members. It allows us to control who accesses the site and maintain a supportive environment. We won’t tolerate bullying, discrimination or harassment, or any other form of abusive behaviour. You can find our full set of community guidelines here.
Will membership always be free?
We aim to keep membership free for as long as possible. However, if we need to introduce a membership fee, it will be with the intent of offering substantial value. Any pricing changes will ensure that the cost of a yearly membership is more economical than purchasing individual courses. We are committed to maintaining high-quality content and benefits for our members.
How can I get involved in the community?
There are many ways to engage with our community! You can participate in forums, attend webinars, join peer support groups, and access our wide range of resources and courses. We encourage members to share their experiences and insights to foster a collaborative environment. If you would like to participate in one of our special “Celebrating Our Members Success” articles where we interview you and share your career advice, or you would like to contribute to the community in some other way, please email our community manager.
How do you ensure the community remains a safe space?
We are committed to maintaining a respectful and supportive environment. we have community guidelines in place and a moderation team that ensures these guidelines are followed/ Any behaviour that compromises the safety or well-being of our members will be addressed promptly. If you feel unsafe and want to make a report, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our moderator team directly.
